perfectViewer
perfectViewer™ is the perfectPACS
module that seemlessly integrates two best of breed solutions with the workflow
intelligence of perfectPACS to provide the diagnostic radiologist a highly productive
desktop solution. We have received reports from radiologists who save two or
more hours per average workday when using perfectViewer! This translates into either
more cases read per day or more leisure time for our radiologists. Either way it's
a winning combination.

How it Works
perfectImaging has integrated eFilm, the diagnostic reading station by Merge Healthcare, and Dragon
Medical by Nuance for voice recognition, into its own rich perfectFlow™ workflow, dictation solution.
It is called perfectViewer by perfectImaging and is called a huge time saver by our radiologists. Our
zero click solution supports an unlimited number of macros that can be used as a starting point for complex
reads or complete reports for normal studies. With one voice command the finished report can be submitted to
the perfectPACS server already approved for release to the hospital or medical center. With another
voice command the report can be submitted to the server for review prior to release. Either way, the work
list is refreshed, the next study is launched in eFilm so it's ready to read, and the dictation editor is
cleared and ready for the next report to be dictated.
The workflow uses First In First Out logic unless a study is tagged as STAT. STAT studies bubble to
the top. If there is more than one STAT report then they are ordered by date/time received followed by
normal cases.
When a study is open, any known prior reports are available for review. Optionally, the images for the priors can
be retrieved if available. Typical practice is to maintain the last two months of study images on the server unless
otherwise specified.
It is also easy to recall previously read studies. There is a quick button for showing the past weeks reports in
descending order so a reading physician can easily recall a report to make a correction/addendum.
